I have 15 years' experience of working with both individuals and groups, and a background in management in both the NHS and voluntary sectors.
My practice is now based in the Dukeries and Sherwood Forest area of Nottinghamshire. I work in both Edwinstowe and Ollerton Village and both venues are easily accessible not only from the local areas around Ollerton and Mansfield, but also from Newark and Worksop.
A programme of workshops and groups for personal and spiritual development is also run throughout the year in a number of different venues in Nottinghamshire, again all within easy reach from the Nottingham, Newark, Worksop, Ollerton and Mansfield areas, and also with excellent links to the M1.

Sweetdragonsfly
Sweetdragonsfly came into being in May 2009 in fulfillment of a long-held dream - but why Sweetdragonsfly? Reflection, meditation and creative visualisation formed a picture in my mind of writhing dragons, their fiery breath becoming the breath of new life.
I wanted the name to reflect the transformation that we can achieve by using creative therapy, visualisation, dream work and other techniques for personal development, to work with the dragons from our past and harness their energy and power to set our self and spirit free to fly in our life.
Our dragons may be previous trauma, relationship patterns or critical messages that we have internalised, which can all tie us down and prevent us from experiencing a deeper breath of life or reaching our full potential.
Working individually with a guide or therapist, or within a group setting, we can identify and befriend those monsters of the past and learn how to create within the alchemical flask of our life a golden sweet honey with positive energy to seek out "life in all its fulness".

Life Journeys and Magical Landscapes
As a therapist, my own life experiences support my work and relationships with clients on their life journeys. As a creative therapist, I also engage with the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual landscapes that surround and support those journeys. The landscapes around us can be our gateway into exciting new experiences.

The sweetdragonsfly programme offers events based in beautiful venues and settings in and around Edwinstowe, Ollerton, Sherwood Forest and The Dukeries areas of north Nottinghamshire. The programme activities are grounded in the magical stories and detail of these landscapes, and many of the photos on this website are taken in and around these areas.
Edwinstowe is known locally as "Robin Hood's village" and is within a short travelling distance of Ollerton which lies at the crossroads of the road networks between York and London, Newark and Worksop, and Ollerton and Mansfield. The local area is rich both in the legends and myths of the life of Robin Hood, and in the life stories of the local forests and collieries. The process of transition and transformation is clearly evident in the landscapes around.
As a child, I remember a family blessing of "Happy Landings". My aim as a therapist is to support you in your life journey, to enable you to achieve what you want to achieve, and to guide you into some of those "Happy Landings" that enhance our lives in every way.
